Unlike the likes of @LeoDeCaprio who is unbelievably versatile ranging from a Titanic to a Revenant to a Wolf of Wall Street , Bollywood stars never believed in playing characters ..Their understanding of characters never goes beyond little alterations in hair style and clothing…— Ram Gopal Varma (@RGVzoomin) December 9, 2024
RGV’s praise for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa comes after a detailed characteristic review by the director. In a long review penned by the National award-winning director, he mentioned how Pushpa 2 redefined the definition of a superhero, which was expected to be perfect.
His review read, “Pushpa’s character is coming from such highly contrasting characteristics like innocence blending with cunning and a super ego mixed with vulnerability I never ever believed that a deformed guy can be a super action hero because by the very definition a super hero is expected to be perfect But in Pushpa’s character.”
