"Caged In Isolation": Actor Ravi Mohan Breaks Silence On Marital Controversy
Actor Ravi Mohan has finally broken silence over his divorce and the accusations raised by his estranged wife, Aarti. The divorce battle between Ravi Mohan and Aarti has been the topic of discussion, with both parties raising accusations of emotional and physical abuse against each other. Following Aarti’s Instagram post, Ravi released a 5-page-long statement answering the major accusations raised against him.
In the statement, the actor called himself a survivor of physical, emotional, mental and financial abuses who was caged in isolation for years. The actor, who has not posted any statement other than his divorce announcement, has now offered an explanation since he felt his “silence is being mistaken for guilt.”

While his estranged wife accused him of abandoning his children because of unanswered calls, cold messages and cancelled meetings, the actor claims that his children are being used as a tool in a public narrative rooted in financial gain and public sympathy.

Refuting the claims of abandonment, the actor alleged that he was deliberately kept away from his children since the separation, with bouncers accompanying them. He said, “Apart from a single court-mandated meeting last Christmas, all communications have been a gradual but structured cutoff.” He claimed that he was not even informed of the car accident that his children suffered a month ago; he said that he decided to leave his wife in marriage but not his kids.
Ravi also alleged that a year ago, he was coerced to sign surety for Aarti’s mother’s multi-crore loan which completely stripped his financial stability. He stated that he had been struggling with this for the past 16 years.
The actor also penned a warning statement along the note that read, “Don’t dare to involve my kids in it ever again. I will only see you in court for any/all amicable proceedings.”
Regards to Kenishaa Francis
The public appearance of the actor with his therapist, Kenishaa Francis, at a marriage event created a huge buzz on the internet, with many trolling the duo. Addressing this, the actor said that those trolls are nothing compared to the silent trauma that he experienced for the past 16 years.
He clarified that Kenishaa was the friend who saved him and supported him when he had nothing but “tears, blood and the courage to walk away.”

While sharing a heartbreaking moment, he also said , “She stood by me on the night I left my own home barefoot, in a nightsuit, when I was stripped of my wallet, my vehicles, documents, my belongings and even basic dignity.” He added, “If you respect my heart, then you will do the same for Kaneeshaa.”
Concluding the 5-page-long note, Ravi Mohan said, “This is my last statement on this!! I as a citizen, will follow and adhere to the justice system in place.”
Ravi Mohan’s divorce
On September 9 last year, Ravi announced his decision to part ways with his wife Aarti. He shared a statement in Tamil and English explaining that the decision regarding the ‘dissolution of his marriage with Aarti’ was taken after careful consideration.
In a separate statement, Aarti announced that the divorce statement was released ‘without her consent’. Later, rumors started circulating on social media about Ravi Mohan’s relationship with singer and therapist, Kenishaa. The two were also clicked together attending a wedding in Chennai recently.
