The first look poster of Communist Pacha, also titled Appa, directed by debutant Shameem Moideen, has been unveiled. Set against the backdrop of gully cricket, the film is slated to hit theaters on January 3. The screenplay has been written by Ashif Kakkodi, and the movie is produced under the banner of Haritha Productions by Salman. This film promises to be a powerful satire tackling socially relevant themes.
The film features National and State Award winning filmmaker Zakariya (Sudani from Nigeria) in a lead role, adding a unique appeal. The cast also includes Altaf Salim, Naslin Jameela Saleem, Sajin Cherukayil, Sarasa Balussery, Ranji Kangol, Vijilesh, Balan Parakkal, Shamsudheen Mankarathodi, Ashwin Vijayan, Sanandan, Anuroop, Hijas Iqbal, Vineeth Krishnan, Anil K and kudashanad Kanakam portraying noteworthy characters.
The music for the film is performed by Govind Vasantha, Benny Dayal, DJ Shekhar, and Chitra. The art direction is helmed by National Award winner Anees Nadodi, and the editing is done by Nishad Yusuf. The film’s visuals are brought to life by cinematographer Shafi Koroth, production controller is Girish Atholi,while Harris Desham serves as the line producer and Irshad Cherukkunnu handles costume design.
