The 70th National Film Awards announced. The awards recognised films released in 2022, considering those censored between 1 January and 31 December 2022. The award was announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Sudhir Mishra, Priyanandanan TR, C Ajoy, NS Madhavan and Ann Augustine are the jury members. Among the leading contenders for the Best Actor award are Malayalam superstar Mammootty, 12th fail actor Vikrant Massey and Kannada actor Rishab Shetty.
