Reuniting the celebrated duo of Dhanush and Nithya Menon, the film was initially set for an April 10, 2025 release. But it was later postponed due to the delay in the production. About the film’s postponement, Akash Baskaran, the producer of the film, confirmed the delay and shared that only a few scenes are left to be filmed abroad.

In his recent interview with Cinema Vikatan, the producer explained that scheduling conflicts caused the setback. Akash also shared that the pending scenes involve multiple actors, including Nithya, Arun Vijay, and Parthiban. Since their dates didn’t match, the team chose not to rush.

Moreover, the film also reunites Dhanush and Nithya, known for their blockbuster romantic comedy film Thiruchitrambalam.
