The wait is finally over. Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan”s much-awaited Dunki was released in theatres today, December 21. The release of Dunki is nothing less than a celebration for SRK fans. Videos and pictures from celebrations all across theatres are going viral on social media. Dunki was Shah Rukh Khan”s third release in 2023, after Pathaan and Jawan.
The much-awaited movie”s first show was hosted in the country at 5:55 a.m. at Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety Galaxy. Videos circulating on social media platforms show a massive crowd of people celebrating Dunki’s release by burning fireworks and dancing. A big cutout of Shah Rukh Khan was also spotted at the Gaiety Galaxy. Not only in Mumbai”s Gaiety Galaxy, SRK fans were seen dancing outside the theatres in several locations, creating a festive atmosphere. SRK fans have turned the release into a massive celebration.

Shah Rukh Khan also shared the videos of the celebration of fans ahead of the Dunki release. “Thank u guys and girls have a good show and hope u all get entertained by #Dunki,” wrote Shah Rukh Khan on his X handle on December 21 while sharing the videos.

With Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, King Khan is eyeing his third blockbuster of the year. SRK”s Pathaan, which was released in January, collected over Rs 1,000 crore globally. In September, the Bollywood star gave another visual treat with Jawan, and it collected over Rs 1100 crore. Notably, Dunki is Rajkumar Hirani”s fifth directorial. Apart from SRK, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani also play significant roles in the movie.
