“Emotional”: John Cena Recounts His 'Awestruck' Moment With Shah Rukh Khan (Image-X/JohnCena)
As the Ambani wedding united various personalities of the world together, the Legendary WWE wrestler and actor John Cena shared his admiration for King Khan aka Shah Rukh Khan, describing him as “empathetic and kind.”
Recalling his wonderful moments with the Bollywood Badshah at the Ambani wedding to ANI, John Cena said, “It was just such an emotional moment to be able to shake a person’s hand that affects your life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did. He was amazing. He couldn’t have been more empathetic and kind and sharing. It really was wonderful. It was wonderful. I was awestruck, starstruck. It was fantastic.”

Expressing the “awestruck and starstruck” moment, the legendary wrestler continued, “He did a TED Talk that found me at the right time in my life, and his words were beyond inspirational to me. They helped orchestrate a change in my life. And since that change, I’ve been able to recognize all the jackpots that I’ve been given, and been grateful and worked hard to make sure I don’t waste them.”
About his meeting with King Khan, John Cena posted a tweet on the positive effects of the actor on his life, sharing a picture of himself with him at the wedding and wrote, “A surreal 24 hours. So grateful to the Ambani family for their unmatched warmth and hospitality. An experience filled with so many unforgettable moments which allowed me to connect with countless new friends, including meeting @iamsrk and being able to tell him personally the positive effect he has had on my life (sic).”

He also admired the food, which was one of the highlights of the wedding. Speaking about the cuisine, the wrestler said, “The Ambani wedding had its fair share of cuisine, but they also did Indian food and Indian street food very well. The food was fantastic. I had a short stay, which means I would like to go back and try some Indian food. The level of spice was just enough for me, just enough to break a small sweat. So, I can’t wait to try to test my spice meter when I come back.”
John Cena concluded his heartfelt experience with a message saying he looks forward to returning to India soon. Meanwhile, he will soon be seen in the Prime Video film Jackpot, also starring Awkwafina.
