The filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala’s highly anticipated Bollywood comedy franchise, Housefull 5 has commenced its final shooting schedule. The film boasts a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, and others.

Nadiadwala Grandson shared an exquisite photo of the ensemble cast of Housefull 5 on Instagram. This film also marks a milestone as the first franchise in Indian cinema to have five instalments.

The first Housefull film was released in 2010, starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and others. It was a hit followed by another successful sequel, Housefull 2, in 2012. Both films were directed by Sajid Khan.

The third instalment, released in 2016, was directed by Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji. Housefull 3 had Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis, Lisa Haydon and Jackie Shroff as new additions.

The fourth part, a reincarnation comedy, was helmed by Farhad Samji. Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Rana Daggubati and Pooja Hegde featured in Housefull 4 with Akshay and Ritesh reprising their roles.

Now, Housefull 5 is making history as the first franchise with five films, entertaining audiences for over a decade.

The viral photo showcases the stars donning trendy goggles, posing together on the luxurious cruise ship that serves as the film’s primary setting. This time the cast includes Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Nana Patekar, Soundarya Sharma and Nikitin Dheer as new additions.

The cruise travels from London to France, Spain and back to the UK, providing a stunning backdrop for the comedy.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film is a high-budget comedy shot on a luxurious cruise which is expected to deliver five times the fun, comedy and entertainment it is slated to hit theatres on June 6th, 2025.
