Is it going to be Rajasthan or some other venue, this was what we thought when we saw the beautiful Parineeti and to-be husband Raghav Chadha making waves together.
Pari had a pleasant surprise for everyone as she announced her engagement earlier this year with Raghav Chadha. In May, she had shared her engagement photographs on her Instagram page with a beautiful post which oozed the love and warmth between the couple. Her cousin Priyanka Chopra Jonas was also seen at the engagement. The couple were seen travelling together, giving fans time to guess on the where and when of the wedding.
The engagement was held at Delhi, and as we kept guessing for the rest, now, the couple has come out with their wedding date. Earlier, it was only known that they will finalize the date and venue for their grand wedding ceremony in a month’s time. but now the Pari-Raghav pair has let the dates out. Times of India entertainment has reported that the pair would tie the knot on 25 September, in a splendid ceremony at Rajasthan. Pinkvilla reported that sources have named the place as Oberoi Udaivilas in Udaipur, though the couple has not confirmed yet. It also reported from sources that it would be a grand wedding graced by friends and family. The actress is tight-lipped about the wedding festivities. Sources said that she would step into her wedding preparations in the first week of September. A grand reception is expected at Gurugram after the wedding. Some sources say that there are plans of two grand receptions at Mumbai and Delhi. The engagement pictures of the couple have been flooding the internet of late in anticipation of the wedding to be held soon.
Parineeti was last seen in Uunchai; her upcoming movies are the Great Indian Rescue and Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila with Chamkila shoot already wrapped up. It is known that the Great Indian Rescue is a survival thriller, also sharing Suniel Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Ravi Kishen.
Raghav Chadha is an upcoming, enterprising Indian politician, the youngest member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha. He is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party. In a recent interview to The Quint, he is to have said that now, as he is getting married, “most certainly, my colleagues, co-workers in the party, and my seniors tease me a little less now”, “earlier they used to ask me to get married, now they tease me a little less because they know I am getting married soon”. However. He refrained from giving more details, Pinkvilla said.
