The Madhya Pradesh High Court issued a legal notice to the actress based on the same. This issue arose with Anthony, a lawyer and social worker from Jabalpur, alleged in his petition that the use of the word “bible” in the book’s title is hurtful to the sentiments of the Christian community. “The Bible is the holy book of Christianity all over the world and it is wrong to compare Kareena Kapoor Khan’s pregnancy with the Bible,” he said. He further claimed that the actor had used the word to gain “cheap publicity” for her book.
Providing an explanation, the actress’ lawyers – Divya Krishna Billaiya and Nikhil Bhatt – clarified that their client had no intentions to hurt religious sentiments. However, reports claim that his request was rejected as the petitioner failed to explain how it hurt the religious sentiments. He then moved to the Additional Sessions Court which dismissed his petition.
