Actor Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan’s courtroom drama, Kesari Chapter 2, depicting the dark pages of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, hit theaters on April 18. While the film got rare reviews and a moderate response from the audience, the film fell prey to online piracy.
This directorial of Karan Singh Tyagi narrates the real-life story of Advocate C. Sankaran Nair while featuring the aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Produced by Dharma Productions, Cape Of Good Films & Leo Media Collective, Kesari Chapter 2 stars Akshay, R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in the lead roles.
Hours before the film was officially released in theaters, it was reportedly leaked online on several pirated film websites. This pirated version of the period drama has now been widely circulated on several pirated platforms in different quality formats.
