Killer Soup's Trailer Is Out Now And "The Secrets Are About To Boil Over"

Manoj Bajpayee and Konkana Sensharma is all set to serve some “most bizzare” soup to the audience through online platform Netflix. Makers of the upcoming crime thriller has dropped the trailer on social media platform and captioned it as, “Umesh and Swathi are stirring up the most bizarre crime thriller of the year – and the secrets are about to boil over!”.

Indeed the secrets are boiling over as the trailer promises a nail-biting show. Killer Soup revolves around Swathi, a budding cook who wanted the entire world to enjoy her soup, and Umesh, her lover. One wrong step pulls in a series of reactions and frenzied cover-ups landing them in even more questionable situations.

Manoj Bajpayee will appear in double role, which is a first in his career. The star said he trusted the “stellar cast that breathed life into characters to create surreal pot-boiler”. He remarked that Killer Soup is a crime thriller that have a blend of multiple genres making it a “delicious serving”.

Konkana Sensharma, who plays the role of Swathi Shetty said that it was a unique experience for her to play Swathi Shetty as the character “has depth, darkness, and packs a lot punch”. She said she can’t wait for the audience’s reaction, as the trailer offers a glimpse of the “quirky world” which was set against the backdrop of a “sleepy town”.

Killer Soup is an Abishek Chaubey. The show is produced by Chetana Kowshik and Honey Trehan. The show will be released on online streaming platform Netflix on January 11, 2024. Apart from Manoj Bajpayee and Konkana Sensharma, it have Nasser Sayaji shinde, Anula Navlekar, Anbuthasan, Lal and Kani Kusruti in lead roles.
