Mammootty-Mohanlal Images Break The Internet: "Something Big Is Gonna Happen"

An hour ago, Antony Perumbavoor, a close associate of actor Mohanlal and a film producer, posted some internet-breaking images on his Instagram profile. The images featured Malayalam legends Mohanlal and Mammootty in various poses, with Antony was seen tagging along in some of the photos. This has caused a stir in the Malayalam social media world, with both fans and movie enthusiasts speculating on what might be coming.

The leading theory is that Mammootty will play a significant role in an upcoming Mohanlal movie produced by Ashirvad Cinemas, led by Antony Perumbavoor, while Mohanlal will take on an important role in a Mammootty film produced by his own company, Mammootty Kampany. The theories gained momentum after Antony tagged both production houses in his Instagram post. The Mammootty movie is reportedly directed by Mahesh Narayanan.

An X user, after sharing an image from the now viral post wrote: “Something big is gonna happen”.

 

Reportedly, the images were taken at the “Mazhavil Entertainment Awards 2024,” an event organized by AMMA, the Kerala Film Producers Association, and Mazhavil Manorama.

This has been creating a huge buzz among the fans with social media platforms being filled with excitement. Marking the duo’s collaboration after 11 years an X user wrote: “Mammootty & Mohanlal collaborating for 2 projects after 11 years❗”

Another user also expressed his thoughts on it as “Before they hang up their boots, a Mammootty-Mohanlal film is a must! Their legendary careers deserve a banger together”, the user further mentioned the cinematic magic which could happen between the duo without any  fan fights and comparisons.

Previously the duo has delivered numerous classics together, including Athirathram, Adimakal Udamakal, Paavam Poornima, and Oru Mukham Pala Mukham. Moreover, the duo has worked together in the recently released anthology series Manorathangal, based on the short stories of the legendary Malayalam writer MT Vasudev Nair.
