"My Friend, You Are Gone Much Too Soon", Salma Hayek About Matthew Perry's Death

Friends and families of Matthew Perry is still trying to reel out from the shocking news of his untimely death. The 54 year old ‘Chandler Bing’ of ‘Friends’ died in his Los Angeles home last week. Two days later, Salma Hayek, an old friend and co-star of Mr. Perry in ‘Fools Rush In’ took to Instagram to pay tribute.

Sharing few throwback pictures with Mr. Perry, she wrote that it has taken her “couple of days to process this profound sadness”. She said that a special bond would be shared when “you share dreams with someone, and together you work towards them”. She fondly remembered the time when Mr. Perry shared how Fools Rush In was his favourite and how the two of them found themselves “reminiscing about that meaningful time in our lives with a deep sense of nostalgia and gratitude”.

She ended her loving and heartfelt note with saying that she will continue to “cherish your silliness, your perseverance, and your lovely heart. Farewell, sweet Matthew, we will never forget you”.

Earlier, the Friends co-star of Mr. Perry including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schimmer pay tribute to their lost friend whim they fondly address as family member. They said the loss “seems impossible”, in a statement. The statement read, “all we can say is that we feel blessed to have had him as part of our lives”.

Another statement read, “we are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family”. The statement shared how it was impossible for the cats to express their words in the grief-stricken time. They said there is so much to say and would say when they are able to.

Initial reports about Mr. Perry”s death suggest that it was due to drowning. one day later, Mr. Perry”s death, 911 released audio of his call to the emergency aid. Celebrities within and beyond Hollywood shared the grief of losing their “forever friend” through their social media platforms.
