
"No Property Illegally Acquired": Soundarya's Husband On Allegations Against Mohan Babu
Actress Soundarya’s death made headlines after two decades, followed by the alleged involvement of actor Mohan Babu. As these claims shocked many, G.S. Raghu, husband of the late actress, has clarified the allegations as “baseless.”
As the death of the actress became a sensation again after 22 years, Raghu has denied the alleged involvement of Mohan Babu. He also clarified that no property was illegally acquired and no land transaction had taken place between Soundarya and Babu.

“From the past few days, there has been a piece of false news about a property in Hyderabad concerning Shri Mohan Babu sir and Smt. Soundarya. I want to deny the baseless news that has spread regarding the property. To clarify, I confirm that there is no property illegally acquired by Shri Mohan Babu sir from my wife, Late Smt. Soundarya. We never had any land transactions with him as far as my knowledge is concerned,” read the official statement by Raghu as shared by Telugu 360.
He further affirmed his good rapport with Mohan Babu over the years and requested the public to stop spreading false news over the issue.

For the unversed, Soundarya, a popular actress in the South Indian film industry, tragically passed away at the age of 31 in a private aircraft crash on April 17, 2004. The actress is known for her roles in films like Sooryavansham with Amitabh Bachchan and Padayappa with superstar Rajinikanth, among others.
The allegation came to light when a social activist, a resident of Khammam district, approached police, demanding a thorough investigation into the incident to determine if there was any foul play involved. The activist alleged that Soundarya’s death was not an accident but a murder, stemming from a property dispute with Mohan Babu.
