Nunakkuzhi, a comedy entertainer made by Jeethu Joseph hit the big screen today, as filmgoers waiting for an enthralling comic genre with many expecting something to laugh as his previous work My Boss. Adding excitement to the presumptions, the reviews coming out are celebrating the comic episodes of the movie that could impress the spectators effectively.

The movie revolves around a young businessman’s life as he gets immersed in a flood of lies and confusion after a laptop is misplaced and swapped accidentally. The film features Basil Joseph in the leading role and casts Grace Antony, Swasika Vijay and Manoj K. Jayan as other pivotal characters.

Reviewing the movie, Times Now observed that the film delivered what it promised, stating that the movie is both fun and entertaining. Malayalam media house Mathribumi called the movie a fun festival, noting that the comedies emanate from the fortress build by lies which add colours to the screen.

The movie tells the story of Eby Zacharia, (Basil Joseph) a person who does not want to take responsibility in life and loves to spend time with his wife. It depicts how an event changes the whole life of Ebi, forcing him out in the midst of a rush.

A user, What The Fuss, opined that the movie goes forward with situational humour while noting that the chaos is yet to be developed through certain comic episode works. “Made on a loose premise after a laptop gets accidentally swapped, the movie proceeds with situational humour. Though certain comic episodes work, thanks to the talented artists, the chaos is yet to be developed. Waiting for the confusion to flourish in the second half,” the user wrote.
