The film, Nunakuzhi, directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Basil Joseph will hit the theaters today. Following the massive success of the film Drishyam 2, written by Jeethu Joseph, this latest film has created a buzz among the audience.

The trailer of the film which was released on August 7 suggested that the movie will be an out-and-out comedy and family entertainer.

The movie stars actors Basil Joseph and Grace Antony in lead roles. Apart from them, it also features actors like Siddique, Manoj K Jayan, and Baiju Santhosh in prominent roles.

The trailer of the film promises a comedy entertainer with a hilarious chain of events brought about by lies that a group of people have been telling. Adding on to its peculiarity, this will be the first time the director Jeethu Joseph and Basil Joseph have teamed up on screen.

In the trailer of the film, Basil Joseph is portrayed as Eby Zacharia Poozhikunnel, MD of Poozhikunnel Group of Companies.

The remaining main characters are three police officers who are investigating a murder and are searching for a dead body, a broken couple played by Aju Varghese and Grace Antony, and a group of aspiring filmmakers. Things take a hysterical and chaotic turn when all the characters unexpectedly cross paths.

The film ‘Nunakuzhi’ is penned by KR Krishna Kumar. The film is produced by Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar while it is co-produced by Sahil S Sharma.

The cinematography department was handled by Satheesh Kurup while the film was edited by VS Vinayak. The music is composed by Vishnu Shyam.
