Ahead of the release, the makers of Ravi Teja’s Mr.Bachchan were asked to make major changes to the film by the CBFC board, notably changing Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha’s posters from the credit roles.
As per reports, the censor board has asked the makers to make several modifications including removing abusive words from the film. A disclaimer stating that the film is fictional and has no resemblance to any place or person was to be added.

Moreover, a two-minute-long scene, which shows a child smoking has undergone changes with the replacement of the beedi with a pencil. A one-minute scene featuring a chopped head was also trimmed from the movie.
As a major edit, the film’s rolling title, which featured a poster of Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha was replaced with a poster showing him and Jaya Bachchan. Following these changes, the CBFC passed the film on Tuesday with a U/A certificate. Ravi Teja’s film Mr. Bachchan will be seen clashing at the box office with Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt’s Double iSmart.

Directed by Harish Shankar, this action-packed drama is a Telugu adaptation of the 2018 Hindi hit Raid, which starred Ajay Devgn in a riveting role. Moreover, the director also requested the audience to watch the original film before watching Mr. Bachchan. He believes doing so, the audience can understand the depth of its making.
