From Bollywood to Kollywood, filmmakers have lined up their stories and have created buzzing anticipation among the Indian audience with the promotions of the films are creating a storm on social media. With the big heads of the cine world like Salman Khan, John Abraham, and Chiyaan Vikram from the south, the day is completely packed with promising entertainers.

Stree 2

Alerting the audience to witness the return of the biggest horror comedy of the year, Maddock Films have marked the legend’s return on this Independence Day with the release of Stree 2. With an ensemble cast feat Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi reprising their roles, the makers have piqued the audience’s interest with the release of its singles featuring Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan. The sequel to Stree (2018) and the fifth installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe, Stree 2 is expected to be a big hit this year.

Khel Khel Mein

Akshay Kumar’s third release of the year, Khel Khel Mein is the remake of the 2017 released Italian movie Perfect Strangers. Promising a perfect comedy entertainer, the film is packed with three couples, where Akshay is paired with Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk with Taapsee Pannu, and Aditya Seal, with Pragya Jaiswal. seven friends who gather for a dinner party, but it takes a unique twist. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film follows the story of seven friends and their dinner party. When they surrender their phones, secrets and lies unravel, revealing hidden truths that lead to hilarious and crazy situations.

Vedaa

Adding the tricolor to this Independence day, John Abraham’s Vedaa is on the mission to question the existence of law and constitution over social injustice. With John and Sharvari on board, Vedaa is set to narrate the story of one extraordinary soldier, one ordinary girl who will fight to protect the constitution of India and to protect justice, liberty, and equality of society.

Thangalaan

Perhaps the biggest release of tomorrow, Kollywood has launched its periodic action-adventure with Thangalaan. The makers have hyped up the anticipation over this Chiyaan Vikram’s release with a real-life inspired story dating back to the 1900s in the Kolar Gold Factory (KGF) of Karnataka under British rule. This Pa Ranjith film is set to drive the audience to travel back in time with Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan on board. The music scored by GV Prakash is also creating a vibe among the fans. It is also set to be released in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Raghu Thatha

Keerthy Suresh’s protest against Hindi imposition in Raghu Thatha is also lined up for the Independence Day release. The promotional works of the film are on speed and on the other hand, the actress is also on a promotional spree as Kayalvizhi (the character). Bankrolled by the makers of KGF and Kanthara – the Hombale Films Productionthis women-centric film promises a fun ride.

Nunakuzhi

Directed by Jeethu Joseph, known for his gripping narratives, Nunakuzhi, marks a departure into dark humor starring Basil Joseph as the lead. Hinting comedy twined with lies, the movie promises a hilarious ride. The film marks the first collaboration between the talented Basil and the Drishyam director.

Double iSmart

Tollywood is set to witness the duo of Sanjay Dutt and Ram Poitheni together with the release of Double iSmart. Packed with mass dialogues and action sequences, the movie explores the duo’s rivals on the mission for immortality.

Mr. Bachchan

Ravi Teja’s much-anticipated film Mr. Bachchan will also make its debut screening tomorrow.
