Slated for an Independence day release, the trailer highlights the struggle of the characters to attain freedom, raising expectations for a great independence treat.

So, what does the trailer offer? The trailer begins with ‘Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya’ shloka followed by John saying, “Jab jab adharm badhega, tab tab main dharm ki raksha karunga (Every time evil increases, each time I will be the protector).” Hinting himself to be the Krishna to Vedaa’s (Sharvari) Arjun.

The trailer opens with a promise of a major to be a protector and a young woman’s quest for more than a protector against social discrimination. The trailer notably underlines the buried discrimination, under the tags of caste system and untouchability, and also questions the existence of law and constituency. Moreover, it reads “One extraordinary soldier, one ordinary girl will fight to protect the constitution of India.”

Overall, the film revolves around a young woman named Vedaa, who challenges the status quo. Supported by a former soldier, portrayed by John, who becomes her protector and ally, her quest for justice is bolstered by his support.

On the trailer launch, the actor lost his coo, when the film was questioned about being a regular action flick of John Abraham. “No, I just want to tell you that this is a different kind of movie. According to me, it is a very intense performance of mine. Of course, you haven’t watched the film yet,” the actor replied.

John then seemed to cool down a little, before jokingly adding, “See the film first, after that, I’m all yours, whatever you say. But if you are wrong, I’m going to turn around and tear you apart.”
