Aamir Khan, the perfectionist, who has been the pillar of Indian cinema with his successful ventures in multiple phases as an actor and director, is reportedly back on track to follow his one-film-a-year strategy.

Aamir Khan, the actor with his endless contribution to the development of Indian cinema, is also a legend who started the 100 crore club, 200 crore club, and 300 crore club with his blockbusters like Gajini, 3 Idiots, and PK respectively. And notably, back in the 90s, he was one of the actors who followed one film-a-year approach, barring the gap he took post-Lagaan and Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 for Mangal Pandey: The Rising.

But this trend of Aamir Khan witnessed a breakthrough in 2016 with the blockbuster Dangal, the actor made 3 big screen appearances including his guest role in Secret Superstar. The period between the years 2018 to 2022 had not been played as the actor expected it to be as it witnessed a massive backlash at the box office with Thugs Of Hindostan with Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.

Now Aamir Khan has laid his way back to his strategy concentrating on one film a year. Currently, the actor is focused on establishing his production house, and for this, he has roped Aparna Purohit from Prime Video to lead the charge. His production house is already filled with major releases as it bags Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta starrer, Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore 1947, Vir Das’s directorial venture Happy Patel, and Junaid Khan’s two films one with Sai Pallavi and Jhanvi Kapoor.

As per the reports from Times Of India, “Aamir is planning to go back to his one film a year strategy and have at least one film a year, and the wheels are already in motion for it. He realized that breaks from films were not working for him as an actor and as a star. This year he he already has Sitaare Zameen Par with Genelia D’souza lined up for Christmas and he also has a a cameo in Vir Das’ Happy Patel. Post that he is in talks with multiple filmmakers and announcements are expected to arrive with time.”
