Shradha Kapoor starrer Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, released across India. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, the film is a sequel to the 2018 movie featuring the same characters. The second part created a buzz in social media platforms. Reportedly, the film is expected to have biggest opening in 2024, surpassing Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.

The movie was actually set to release on August 15. However, BookMyShow revealed that there are late night shows on August 14. Rajkumar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana also star in the film. Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan’s cameo is also being praised.

Social media is lit with praises for the horror-comedy film. “Rajkumar Rao is once again in top form, delivering his signature performance with strong support from Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. Pankaj Tripathi continues to shine as Rudra, stealing scenes with his witty one-liners and impeccable shuddh Hindi”, wrote one user.

“This film stands out among all the film released recently. Audience were laughing whole the time and same time terrorised. Good blend of horror and comedy”, another user wrote.

User named Dexter said Stree 2 is a “scream of a good time! This horror-comedy flies high with its perfect blend of laughs & chills. It is a mix of humor & horror, creating a film that’s entertaining”. The user called the film a “sure shot box office winner”.

 

“It will be good if you watch it first time in theatres..the effects … The horror part can be felt. Act. Direction. Story deserves a good rating”, said another user. While one user said Stree 2 is “Mind boggling and fun gave me tumbaad kind of vibes. Go and watch with the family. It’s really good and different.another 500 crore club”, another said the film is a “Worth watching. Great combination of horror and comedy. Dialogue writer indeed was best”.
