Prithviraj Sukumaran’s survival drama is an adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name penned by Benyamin. Based on true live events, the film portrays the story of Najeeb, a young man from Kerala who moves to Saudi Arabia in search of a job but there he has to face slavery. The movie revolves around Najeeb’s struggles, near-death experience and redemption.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, the lead actor while sharing his experience working on this film said that it has been a long tiresome journey. “After a decade-long wait, the audience gets to watch the fruit of our hard work and turmoil. It has been an honour to be a part of Blessy sir’s vision and watch a maestro like AR Rahman bring music to life,” he added.
