As south Indian star Chiranjeevi completes 45 years in the film industry on Friday, son and actor Ram Charan has come up with an adorable wish, appreciating the megastar”s “still strong incredible journey!”
Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor, film producer and former politician, who is regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. He started his acting career with the Telugu movie Pranam Khareedu released on September 22, 1978. The movie was directed by K. Vasu and produced by Kranthi Kumar.
“Hearty Congratulations to our beloved Megastar Chiranjeevi garu on completing 45 amazing Years of Mega Journey in Cinema!”, wrote Ramcharan on his social media.
“What an incredible journey! Starting with #PranamKhareedu & still going strong with your dazzling performances”, he added.
“You continue to inspire millions both with your on screen performances and your off screen humanitarian activities”, said Ramcharan sharing a collage incorporating multiple characters Chiranjeevi played by the time.
“Thank you, Dad for instilling values of discipline, hard work, dedication, excellence and above all compassion…”, wrote Ramcharan concluding the anniversary wish.

Chiranjeevi or Konidela Sivasankara Varaprasad, was born on August 22 in 1955. In a career spanning over four decades, he starred in over 150 feature films predominantly in Telugu, as well as some films in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
As per the reports, he won the Andhra Pradesh state”s highest film award, the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, three Nandi Awards, and nine Filmfare Awards South including the Lifetime Achievement Award.
In 2006, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan, India”s third-highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian cinema. He was named as one of “the men who changed the face of the Indian Cinema” by CNN-IBN in 2013.
