The new season of the Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix has brought some exciting factors for the fans with the team Jigra. And guess what? Alia Bhatt has revealed her daughter Raha’s heartwarming connection with a Malayalam film melody “Unni Vavavo.”
The show opened with the team of the upcoming film Jigra as the actors Alia Bhatt, and Vedang Raina, director Vasan Bala, and producer Karan Johar graced the show hosted by comedian Kapil Sharma. In the show, Alia Bhatt, the new mother revealed Ranbir’s friendship bond with his daughter, she said that Ranbir makes up creative games to play with Raha and it is endearing to watch their friendship-like bond.

While sharing her daughter’s connection with the Malayalam song, she glimpsed about Ranbir’s efforts for her daughter’s bed time melody. She revealed that Ranbir sings Malayalam lullaby to Raha called Unni vavavo. Alia even hummed the lullaby. She said that the lullaby was song to her by their nanny who is a Malayalee. “Whenever Raha wants to go to sleep she says vava vo, which is an indication of her wanting to listen to the lullaby. Ranbir sings it to her,” revealed Alia.

The song Unni Vavavo is the predominantly sang bedtime melody of the south Indian kids and it’s interesting to know that it’s the favourite of Raha as well. This famous melody is from the Malayalam film Santhwanam, released in 1991. This song was soulfully sung by the legendary singer K.S. Chitra and composed by Mohan Sithara. Directed by Sibi Malayil, this film stars actor Suresh Gopi and actress Meena as the main leads.
