The Malayalam film industry is roiling with allegations ever since the revelation of the Hema Committee Report. Shocking allegations pop up every other day. In one such case, a young man who initially accused director Ranjith of sexual misconduct, implicated Revathy, veteran actress and filmmaker, in the scandal.

In her interview with Times of India, Revathy denied the allegations. The man said Renjith took explicit photos of him and sent them to Revathy, stating that she “liked” the pictures, as told by Renjith.

Denying the allegations, Revathy said she did not receive any such photos and therefore does not need to comment on the matter. She said, “I am aware of the news circulating in the media involving Ranjith and me. But I have not received any such alleged photo. So there is no need to comment further on the same”.

The man said the director was talking to a lady when he first entered the room. He said the Ranjith openly admitted that he sent the pictures to Revathy.
