"If The Heroine Doesn't Have Problem..": Salman Khan On Age Difference With Sikandar Co-Star Rashmika (Image-X/NGEMovies)
Salman Khan’s upcoming action entertainer, Sikandar, with actress Rashmika Mandanna, is the latest obsession among Bhai fans. However, some people have also questioned the age gap between the lead pair.
During the trailer launch, Salman addressed the buzz around the 30-year age gap between the leads. The actor went on to tease that he would be willing to work even with Rashmika’s daughter.

Highlighting the age factor, the Tiger 3 actor said, “They say there is a 31-year difference between the heroine and me. If the heroine doesn’t have any problem or the heroine’s father doesn’t have any problem, then why do you have a problem?” Salman’s punchline made the press burst into laughter.
The actor didn’t stop there; he added, “And when she [Rashmika] gets married and has a daughter and then she becomes a big star, then also we will work (together). We will get the mother’s [Rashmika’s] permission for sure.”
Salman’s remarks didn’t land well with social media users. Many found his comments “creepy.”

When they will have a Madhuri Dixit or Bhagyashree at their current age as their co-star, that’s when they send a strong message to society about how ageism shouldn’t exclude the woman!”

Salman also expressed his admiration for Rashmika’s dedication and said that she reminded him of his younger self. Revealing the Pushpa actress’s hectic schedule, he said that she used to finish shooting Pushpa 2 at 7 pm and had joined Sikandar shooting at 9 pm and worked till 6.30 in the morning and went back to work on Pushpa 2.
