“I Am A Pathan”: Sanjay Gupta Lauds Shah Rukh Khan For His “Spine Of Steel”
As Shah Rukh Khan continue to reign Bollywood empire with his latest movie Jawan breaking all the glass roofs of records in box office, film maker Sanjay Gupta lauds Mr. Khan by recollecting how Mr. Khan was “THE ONLY star who never gave in” to underworld bullying which was very common back in 90s.
“Goli marna hai mar do, par tumhaare liye kaam nahin karoonga, mein pathan hoon(if you want to shoot, shoot. But I will not work for you. I am a pathan)” Mr. Gupta recollected how “Badshah of Bollywood” responded to the bullying on X (formerly Twitter).

Jawan released globally on Thursday in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and has entered Rs 100 crore club within two days of its release. Directed by Atlee Kumar, the film addresses social, political issues and how people takes initiative to clear out the mess. The film also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Deepika Padukone shares a cameo role.
