Sanjay Leela Bhansali Announces His Next Film 'Love & War' Starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal (Photo on X Bhansali Production)
Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced today (Wednesday) the details about his next movie ‘Love & War’ described as an epic saga, revealing that the movie will feature Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Sharing the news of the upcoming movie, Bhansali Productions took to its official X platform and wrote that Sanjay Leela Bhansali”s next EPIC saga “LOVE & WAR” starring Ranbir Kapoor Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The post further noted that the movie will be released on the 2025 Christmas day.

Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Vicky Kaushal penned that an eternal cinema dream has come true. “An eternal cinema dream has come true. #SanjayLeelaBhansali #RanbirKapoor @aliaabhatt @prerna_singh6 @bhansaliproductions # Love & War,” the post reads.

The movie is the first collaboration of Vicky with the celebrated Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Alia and Ranbir have worked with Bhansali; Alia in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Ranbir in his debut movie Saawariya. The War & Love marks the reunion of Ranbir and Bhansali after 17 years.
However, in Meghna Gulzar”s Raazi, Alia and Vicky had worked together. The couple, Alia and her husband Ranbir have worked together in “Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva.” Ranbir and Vicky too had time working together as co-stars in Sanju, released in 2018.
According to the report, the director had earlier planned to make a film titled “Baiju Bawra” starring Ranveer Singh, but he put off the plan and focused working on Love & War.
