Shahrukh Khan Shares Plot Of Dunki At Dubai Promotional Event

Shahrukh Khan shared story details of Dunki at a promotional event in Dubai, where he had recently flown to. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and stars Shahrukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in lead roles.

At a promotional event in Dubai, Shahrukh Khan revealed the plot details of his upcoming release, Dunki. Set to release on December 21, the actor is expecting a third box office hit in 2023.

Revealing more about the movie, Shahrukh opened the theme of the movie. “Home is where the heart is,” he said.

Talking more about the plot, he said that it is about homecoming: “You can stay anywhere in the world, but you can rest only on the soil of your nation.”

He also said, “Dunki, is about all those people who have left their home because of work and made a home somewhere else, like you guys have made in Dubai. But there is always a feeling in our heart that our home is a very place to be in and this film celebrates that, that wherever we are, that becomes home.”

Asking the fan to watch the movie with the whole family, Shahrukh talked about the importance of the message the movie is catering to.

Revolving around the home, the movie is expected to be a family film involving a meaningful message to deliver.

Wearing a jacket, a t-shirt, and cargo pants, the actor dashed his fans in Dubai by dancing to his popular songs Oh Maahi and the Jomee Jo Pathan.

During the event, he called the film “his best” and said he made it for himself. “So When I made Jawan, I thought I made it for boys and girls and I didn”t make anything for myself. So this is my film. The film is very close to my heart,” he said.

However, Dunki”s advance booking has neared RS 5 crore in India so far.
