After landing in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram district yesterday, actor Thalapathy Vijay saw a massive turnout of fans, waiting to see the Tamil star. The fans’ gigantic gathering caused standstill in the streets of the capital city out of the fan”s celebrations. The actor was visiting the state after 14 years for his upcoming film named ‘GOAT” or The Greatest of All Time.’ Thousands thronged outside the airport to welcome the actor, hailing slogans loudly and weaving their hands in excitement.

The frenzy of the people upon seeing the actor leave the airport with cheers of fans. Surprisingly, the exhilarated crowd’s love towards the actor led to his car getting damaged as the fans followed the star to his hotel. A video surfaced online showed the shredded glass and dented parts of the car.

Mr Vijay is expected to be in Kerala for around seven days for the shooting of the movie helmed by Venkat Prabhu, and the movie is likely to be wrapped up next month. The release of the movie is yet to be confirmed. The Leo actor’s arrival after 14 years showed the immense fanbase he enjoys in Kerala. The movie Leo released in October 2023 collected more than 500 crore worldwide. The movie ran successfully in Kerala, collecting more than 60 crores in just 32 days and becoming the sixth highest-grossing film in Kerala.

The upcoming ‘The Greatest of All Time’ is expected to be a thriller movie, with the actor playing dual roles. The movie casts Prashnath, Prabhu Deva, and Meenakshi Chaudhary in important roles. However, with his presence in Kerala, the fans are overjoyed and eagerly waiting for the release.
