Tom Hiddleston Thinks Shah Rukh Khan Will Be A Good Variant Of Loki (image-instagram/iamsrk&twhiddleston)
Tom Hiddleston, widely known as the ‘God of Mischief’ Loki, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, said that Shah Rukh Khan will be a perfect Loki variant to play the Bollywood version. “He would be great. He’s a good variant I think,” he said.
Tom Hiddleston is known for his character as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) world. In the MCU franchise Loki has been one of the biggest players. He played the pivotal role in the franchise, having gone from big bad to a complex hero in the end.
While speaking with the interviewer, he was asked which actor from the Hindi film industry he thinks can play the part of Loki. Before responding to the question, Tom asked the interviewer who had the charm, mischief and the emotional vulnerability. At this point host revisited the time when Tom expressed his love for the film Devdas and SRK’s role in it. That’s when the Hollywood actor said, “I was about to say Shah Rukh Khan. He would be great. He’s a good variant I think”.
In the same interview, he also revisited his experience of watching the Shah Rukh Khan’s film Devadas. He described it as an extraordinary experience, Tom added, ““I remember it was quite a long time ago now. I remember going to see Devdas. I mean that”s quite an old film. I remember going to see that at my local cinema, and it was such an extraordinary. I would say I have never seen anything like that. So, yeah I remember that very much.”
Shah Rukh Khan has become an international sensation (again) ever since the release of his 2023 movies- Pathaan and Jawan. He has been widely admired by all Hollywood stars for his charisma, charm and acting skills. He has added two more blockbusters in this year.
While, Tom Hiddleston’s much-awaited season finale Loki 2 has been aired a few days ago. Loki season 2 picks up the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for soul of the Time Variance Authority. The question remains after the Loki 2 series release is that whether this would be his last of his character in the MCU.
