'Vettayan' Vs 'Kanguva': 'Thalaivar 170' Release Date Out (Image-X/Kars)
Rajinikanth fans can mark their calendar now to witness Thalaivar’s crime hunt. The makers of Superstar’s upcoming action drama Vettaiyan packed with big heads of Indian cinema have revealed the release date today. But there is a twist with the clash in the screens.
Lyca Productions, the bankrollers of superstar’s 170th film has finally unveiled its release date as October 10. The announcement has created a huge buzz among Thalaivar fans, who look up to his new action mode as a cop. The makers while dropping the huge treat, on X wrote, “Target locked VETTAIYAN is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from OCTOBER 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada!”

The poster dropped by the makers along with the announcement features the stylish avatar of the Rajinikanth as a cop. It also links the story of the upcoming action thriller with students’ protest for justice.

Adding to the excitement, the film also has an extraordinary cast with prominent actors from the industry Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, and many more notable faces of the industry. Manju is on board as the superstar’s wife in the film.
But, this announcement also introduced the clash of Thalaivar 170 with the might valiant of Suriya’s Kanguva. Yes, the fantasy thriller of Suriya has also been slated for the October 10th release.
