Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran Faces Legal Troubles, Release Canceled
Actor Vikram’s much-anticipated film Veera Dheera Sooran was set to release today, but several shows have been canceled due to ongoing legal issues.
According to reports, B4U filed a case in the Delhi High Court on Wednesday to delay the film’s release until its dispute with the production house, HR Pictures, is resolved.
As per the Times Now report, morning shows before 10 am were canceled across popular theatres like PVR and Cinepolis, with shows expected to resume in the afternoon.

The issue reportedly involves a claim from B4U against the film’s producer, Riya Shibu, for failing to honor a contract regarding the sale of the film’s OTT rights before its theatrical release.
The Delhi High Court placed a temporary stay on the film’s release until 10:30 am on Thursday, leading to the cancellation of early screenings.
Additionally, the producer has been asked to deposit ₹7 crore and submit related documents within 48 hours. Reports also mentioned that the film’s premiere shows in the US were affected by these legal troubles.
As per the reports, the Tamil Film Producers Council and Distributors Association have reached an agreement on the film’s rescheduling. With all the issues being resolved by 3 PM, the film is likely to start its premiere at 6 PM.
However, the official reschedule time is yet to be announced. This film will also be facing a box office clash with Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan.
Veera Dheera Sooran (Part 2) is directed by SU Arun Kumar, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
The film also stars SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique. A prequel to the film is yet to begin production. Despite heavy promotion by Vikram, fans who booked tickets for the morning shows were left disappointed. The film’s team has yet to make an official statement regarding the issue.
