Legal Issues Behind Veera Dheera Sooran
The legal conflict arose following a petition filed by B4U, which had financed the film and claimed rights over its OTT release. B4U sought compensation from the film’s producer, Riya Shibu for not finalising the OTT deal before the film’s release.
Based on the petition, the Delhi High Court placed an interim stay on the film’s release until 10:30 am. As a result, all the shows scheduled to premiere at 9 am were cancelled. But the film managed to hit the theatres in the evening.
