Wamiqa Gabbi is walking down the memory lane of her days during the shoot of the film ‘Kali Jotta’. Sharing the onset photos of ‘Kali Jotta’, the actress wrote on social media, “1 year of Kali Jotta”.
The Bollywood actress shared a series of photographs on Instagram. Wamiqa shared photos of her in different scenarios during the shoot along with her crew members. She could be seen in some photos preparing for the next shot of the film while in others the director explaining the shots to her and her co-actors. Kali Jotta is a 2023 Indian Punjabi-language crime drama directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. The film was written by Harinder Kour and starred Satinder Sartaaj, Neeru Bajwa and Wamiqa Gabbi.

Thanking the Punjabi audience for showering the film with love, Wamiqa wrote, “Thaaaaank you to our punjabi audience for being so open to the vulnerability of the characters of this film and showering them with so much love in the theatres.”
The movie has brought a great change in the Punjabi film industry after its release. The film revolves around the tale of friendship, old-school love, heartbreak, and and society’s brutal honesty war was released in February 2023. The movie after the release emerged as a blockbuster within its eight-week run in theatres.
The movie later which was released on OTT broke viewership records within a few hours of release on Chaupal. The film portrays the emotional journeys of different characters as they go through life and experience realities that are mostly unknown or untold in the social context. The movie further delves into the challenges women have to face in society who dare to live on their own terms.
