In her latest interview with Vogue India cover, the interviewer asked Ms Padukone how she manages to embrace her values as public figure while guarding her boundaries and protecting herself and she replies that she does not know “any other way of being.” The actor then continues:
“When I feel really strongly or passionately about something, I don’t think twice about expressing myself. I’ve grown to become this person where I’m not afraid of speaking my truth or owning up to mistakes. I’m not afraid of saying sorry and I’m okay to be the only person in the room who has a different point of view,” Vogue India quotes as she is saying.
In the interview she also speaks about her work ethic, how she is extremely proud and protective about it. Though being a workaholic, she says that she deliberately find a balance in work so that not to feel burn out. Her public opening on her mental health crisis was courageous since it helped to initiate discussion in society as well as to start awareness about the same.
