4 Lakh Film Workers Boycott Ranveer Singh?
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is facing one of the biggest controversies of his career after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) announced a non-cooperation directive against him following his reported exit from Don 3 just weeks before shooting.
FWICE, which represents more than four lakh film workers across India through 32 affiliated unions, has instructed its members not to work with the actor until the dispute is resolved. The action comes after producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani allegedly complained about heavy financial losses suffered by their banner, Excel Entertainment.

FWICE leaders said the move was necessary to protect producers and workers from last-minute disruptions that can severely impact film schedules and livelihoods.
FWICE Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit reportedly stated that “no superstar is bigger than the industry,” adding that technicians, spot boys, vanity van suppliers and other workers affiliated with the federation would not collaborate with Ranveer Singh until he personally addresses the matter.
