In his recent interview with Anupama Chopra on Hollywood Reporter India, Aamir Khan reacts to the iconic Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan scenes in Pathaan. Aamir said though he had not watched the film, he watched the scene and found it funny.
When Tiger (Salman) joined Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan), in the end scene, and was discussing about to let the young blood take over. However, they realise that there’s no one who could take their place. This is when Pathaan says, “Desh ka sawaal hai, baccho pe nahin chodh sakte (It is the question of the country, cannot leave it to children). The subtle way of the Khan supremacy among the audience was also pointed out during the scene.
Speaking about it, Aamir said, “I found the scene really funny. I have not seen that film, but I have seen that scene. Shah Rukh and Salman (laughs)… I think all the young actors must have got really upset.” He further added that no one can get upset with the two, indicating that it’s ‘Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’. “And you can’t even get too upset with Shah Rukh and Salman. Kya keh sakte hai? (What can you say?)” said Aamir.

When he was asked about how the three Khans have ruled past three or more decades of Bollywood, the Laal Singh Chadda star clarified that there were others along with them on the run, and it was not only the three Khans.
He said, “First of all, I have to say that it’s not just Salman, Shah Rukh, and I who have lasted 35 years. There’s Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, and many actors who have been with us.”
To the question of how stardom has changed, Aamir said he had no idea how to answer that question. He also added that “with the internet coming in and with social media becoming a part of our lives, I think these factors will affect stardom. Earlier, stars were those whom you couldn’t reach. But now they are available quite easily. So the bunch of us who became stars before social media and the internet came in had a slight advantage, I feel. For a new person coming in, he should stay away from the public.”
