Priyadarshan is currently on a mission to reunite the hilarious combo of Saif and Akshay in his next directorial. As per reports, this time the duo will be teaming up for a nail-biting, seat-edge thriller to amuse the audience.

The actors are now happily teaming up to bring back the nostalgic memories. Reports also claim that both actors agreed the moment they read the script.
Helmed by Priyadarshan, the upcoming film is reported to glue the audience to the edge of their seats while offering an exciting thriller ride. Without delaying much, the film will go on floors in August 2025 and is expected to hit the theatres in 2026.
Apart from Tashan, Akshay and Saif, previously collaborated on several hit films, including the cult classic Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Yeh Dillagi (1994), Tu Chor Main Sipahi (1996), and Keemat (1998).
On the work front, the Kesari 2 star is currently working in Priyadharshan’s horror comedy titled Bhoot Bangla. With this film, the actor-director duo are reuniting after 14 years.

Akshay and Priyadarshan are also collaborating on Hera Pheri 3. About the collaboration, Akshay said that the director had offered a fabulous surprise by offering to direct the film. “What a fabulous start to 2025,” he exclaimed.
