"Will Sail Through This": Dipika Kakar Diagnosed With Stage Two Liver Cancer (Image-Instagram/ms.dipika)
Popular television actress Dipika Kakar revealed that she has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. The Bigg Boss 12 contestant, in her recent Instagram post, shared her painful experience of being diagnosed with cancer.
On May 15, Dipika’s husband and Sasural Simar Ka co-star Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that the actress was diagnosed with a “tennis ball-sized” tumour in the liver. Weeks later, Dipika opened up about her cancer treatment in her recent Instagram post.

She shared that a few weeks ago, she had walked into the hospital with a pain in her upper area of stomach and found out that she had a “tennis ball-sized” cancerous tumour in her liver.
Sharing that she experienced one of the most difficult times, the actress also expressed her positivity and strength to sail through the difficult time.
Her post read, “As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us… walking into the hospital for a pain in the upper area of my stomach and then finding out it’s a tennis ball-sized tumor in the liver and then Finding out that the tumor is Second stage Malignant (cancerous)… it has been one of the most difficult times we have seen and experienced!”
She further wrote, “I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger, InshAllah! With my entire family being by my side…and All the Love and PRAYERS pouring in from all of you, I will sail through this too!”
Dipika concluded her note with expecting prayers from her fans and followers and wrote, “InshaAllah. Keep me in your prayers! Lots Of Love, Dipika.”

Dipika’s husband, Shoaib, has been updating fans about the her health on his YouTbe channel, Shoaib Ibrahim Official. In the latest vlog uploaded yesterday, the couple shared their experience in navigating the tough time and how their two-year-old son Ruhaan understood the situation and behaved in a mature manner.
In the video captioned, “Toughest phase of our life | Keep dipi In yours Prayers, ” Dipika shared, “He comes to me once or twice a day but then he realizes that mumma isn’t well. But yes, we have everyone around. So, we are staying strong.”

In an earlier video, Shoaib revealed that Dipika experienced pain in her stomach when they were in Chandigarh. Initially they thought it was due to acidity but the pain did not reduce. The couple then consulted a doctor and after a series of blood tests and CT scans, they came to know that she has a has a tumor in the left lobe of her liver.
Dipika was last seen on the first season of Celebrity MasterChef India. The culinary reality series marked her comeback to television after nearly five years. Her cancer diagnosis comes after Dipika made a voluntary exit from the show due to health issues. Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim got married in February 2018 in Bhopal.
