Amid a brutal heatwave in the national capital, a heavy rainfall lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Thursday, making the city wet after intense heat of the summer season.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also predicted light to moderate rainfall, along with thunderstorms, in the coming three days, noting the fluctuation in weather conditions due to the western disturbance. Cloudy skies and rainfall, with up to 35 km per hour gusty winds, have been predicted in Delhi, a climate the city has been waiting for the past few months to escape the harsh heat.
