2-Day ‘National Agriculture Conference' Kicks Off In Delhi Tomorrow, Fruitful Insights Expected

New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare is organizing the ‘National Agriculture Conference’ titled ‘Rabi Abhiyan 2025’ on September 15’–16 at Bharat Ratna C. Subramaniam Auditorium, Pusa Campus in New Delhi.

Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will chair the conference, which will be attended by Agriculture Ministers of various states, the Secretary of the Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Ministry, the Secretary of DARE and the Director General of ICAR, along with senior officials of related ministries and departments. A press release said on Sunday.

The common platform for agriculture experts, scientists, policymakers and senior representatives of state governments from across the country, the two-day program will have detailed discussions on various innovations, strategies and technologies.

Moreover, various topics aimed at benefiting farmers of Rabi crops will be discussed during the event. On the first day, Central and state-level officials will conduct discussions on key topics, and on the second day, detailed discussions between Agriculture Ministers of all states, the Union Agriculture Minister, and the Union Ministers of State will take place.

The discussions would focus on how the latest technologies and improved seeds can be effectively delivered to farmers. Senior officials from all states will attend with their teams. “For the first time, scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendras have also been invited to share their regional experience and challenges and help in planning future strategies,” the release added.

In addition, the event will witness the sharing of success stories and industry best practices giving insight to the attendees, which include proven practices from various states, so that they can be replicated in other places. Experts will also provide their views on weather forecasting, fertilizer management, agricultural research, and technological interventions.
