A Day After Delhi Results, Arvind Kejriwal’s RSS Connection Alleged

New Delhi: For some in Delhi, including the anti-BJP voters, Arvind Kejriwal has not been an alternative against the Hindutva politics put forward by the Narendra Modi-led government. Earlier, there were allegations that the AAP chief has been associated with RSS, the ideological arm of the BJP.

To further assume the AAP leader’s link with the RSS, various instances can be seen in which Kejriwal asks the RSS leadership if it is content with the stances the Prime Minister took. One of such instances is the claim made by  Prime Minister Modi that he was sent by God.

There were also talks among the X users that the AAP leader was in direct contact with RSS, as Kejriwal himself was created by the organization to build a team against Prime Minister Modi. Before the formation of the AAP, Kejriwal is said to had been working together with the RSS.

On Sunday, a day after the Delhi Assembly election result, Journalist Swati Chaturvedi reiterated that Kejriwal is a BJP asset and is originally an RSS creation. In an X post, Chaturvedi slammed those who are criticising Congress for the AAP’s electoral debacle in Delhi, pointing out that it was the AAP that contested elections in Goa, Punjab, Haryana, and Gujarat, splitting the secular and anti-BJP voters and thus helping the saffron camp.

Columnist and political commentator Pravesh Jain said that the AAP and Kejriwal in particular are responsible for its poll failure in Delhi.

“Let the INDIA alliance die, It was not there ever. Why does Kejriwal go to every state and help BJP in every state?” Jain wrote in an X post, adding that one of the top journalists as a witness told him that the AAP chief’s “birth was from RSS only.”

However, there have been reports that the RSS silently worked in the national capital for the BJP’s victory. national daily Times of India, citing unknown sources, reported that RSS volunteers carried out a silent “voter awareness” drive across Delhi.

One reason put forward by the critics on Kejriwal’s RSS affiliation was the birth and influence of Anna movement in 2011. The Anna movement, which had the motto of an anti-corruption movement, allegedly had the backing RSS and India Against Corruption, which in a way had RSS support and talked openly against reservation.
