Abhijeet Dipke's Grandmother Dies As CJP Founder Remains In Custody In Delhi
New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke’s paternal grandmother passed away on Saturday, October 10. She was 85 when she took her last breath at their native village, Santuk Pimpri, in Maharashtra’s Hingoli district.
Dipke’s grandmother, Savitribai Dipke, had been ill for the last few days. Earlier this day, Delhi police detained Dipke from inside the plane as soon as he landed in Delhi to lead the planned Jantar Mantar protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Dipke’s parents, Bhagwan Deepke and Anita, are currently in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, where there is a heavy police presence around their home. The family would be immedately returning to Hingoli, according to reports, citing sources.
It is not known whether Dipke, who is currently in police custody, could return to home. Reports suggest that the police will arrange for him to travel to Sambhajinagar once he is informed of the tragedy.
