CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Announces Season 2 Jantar Mantar March, Fresh Protest Soon

New Delhi: Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has announced that Season 2 of the group’s Jantar Mantar protests will begin very soon. The CJP founder said he is getting questions from the Instagram followers about the fresh protest.

The earlier 37-day protest became successful forcing the resignation of former union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The students had taken out to the streets demanding accountability for issues such as exam irregularities and paper leaks following widespread paper leak allegations.

The sustained sit-in drew large crowds of students and young first-time protesters, and was widely credited with keeping education reform in the national conversation.

While supporters have praised the youth-led push, calling it a rare example of sustained, issue-based activism outside party lines, critics have questioned the “Season 2” branding, arguing it frames serious protests like entertainment.
