Accused In IRS Officer’s Daughter Killing In Delhi Raped Another Woman Hours Before In Rajasthan
New Delhi: The 23-year-old man accused in the rape and murder of a 22-year-old woman, daughter of a senior Indian Revenue Service (IRS) official, at her residence in Delhi, allegedly raped another woman in Rajasthan.
The accused, identified as Rahul Meena, was arrested on Wednesday night after allegedly raping and murdering the daughter of an IRS officer in Delhi’s posh A mar Colony area. Rahul Meena stole around Rs 2.5 lakh after raping and murdering IRS officer’s daughter. He was a domestic help in the house he targeted until a few month ago.

Notably, the accused had allegedly entered his neighbor’s house in Rajasthan’s Alwar and sexually assaulted a woman. He is also accused of covering her mouth, strangling her, and throwing her to the floor before committing the rape. He allegedly bit the victim at several places on her body.
The next morning, Raul reached Delhi and entered a housing society in south-east Delhi’s A Mar Colony at around 6. 30 am, and rapped and killed the 22-year-old IIT graduate. He left the house around 7.30 am after murdering the woman and stealing the money. The woman’s parents had gone for gym session and when they came back at around 8 am, they found their daughter lying in a pool of blood.

The woman was declared dead when she was rushed to the hospital. The autopsy report is awaited to confirm the sexual assault.
