Rajasthan: 6 Killed As Tempo With Pilgrims On Board Collides With Trailer
Jodhpur, Rajasthan: At least six people were killed, and 14 others injured in a vehicle accident in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur-Balesar stretch of National Highway 125 on Sunday morning.
The accident occurred when a temple carrying pilgrims collided with a trailer loaded with grain sacks near the Khari Beri village in the Jodhpur district. The tempo was heading to Ramdeora, which was hit by the speeding trailer coming from the opposite direction, The Hindu reported, quoting Balesar SHO Moolsingh Bhati.

Bhati said that three women died on the spot, apart from three others, and their bodies have been kept at the Balesar hospital mortuary. The injured have been rushed to the hospital, from where they were referred to the MDM Hospital in Jodhpur.
A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway, Bhati added.

Reports suggests that the trailer rammed into the tempo with great force, leading to the casualties.
