Actor Imran Khan Asked To Leave India By October 28 After Participating In CJP Protest
Mumbai, Maharashtra: Mumbai police ordered Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s nephew actor Imran Khan to leave India before October 28. The order comes days after he joined a protest called by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Police had detained Khan while attending the October 10 protest against Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar in Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan.
The police have given a short deadline for Imran Khan to leave the country. In its order, police said that the action was taken against Imran Khan under the relevant provision of the Immigration Act over his participation in the protest despite not being an Indian citizen. Notably, he had also joined CJP’s protest against NEET paper leak, which resulted in the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
