The High Grounds police station in Bengaluru has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, an editor of a Bangladeshi news portal, and an Indian media house staff, Aditi, a staff of Jaipur dialogues, on a complaint filed by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) member Srinivas G.

As a journalist on the right-wing platform Jaipur Dialogue, Aditi shared the claims made by the Bangladeshi journalist, allegedly spreading fake news against Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and former Congress president Sonia Gandhi with the intent of maligning their public image.
